MDT description

The MDT has no description for this property, but it does have more information which can be found at http://mdt.planetbattlefield.gamespy.com/scripting/GeometryTemplate/Properties/TextureFadeMaxDist.shtm.

My findings

This is mostly (if not entirely) used for fading out the inside of a building as the distance of the player increases, what I like to call 'window fog'.
