VoiceNotify is an Android app that uses Text-To-Speech through the Accessibility Service in Android 1.6+ to speak notification messages from the status bar when they appear, avoiding the need to turn on the screen to read the notification. It features a fully customizable spoken message and the option to select apps to ignore.

Some apps have repeating notifications that can be very annoying | Not an SDK issue | 1.0.0 | 1.0.2 | One such app is TweetDeck while sending an update. Best workaround is to ignore the app, at the expense of none of the app's notifications being spoken. |
